Customer service was amazing which is always a great way to start a new customer relationship! I originally thought I had a transmission issue but the real problem was found and addressed quickly and efficiently. That alone was a testament to not only how knowledgeable they are, but also the care they took with taking the time to root out the real problem (or problems in my case). I'm from out of town and have always heard horror stories about how hard it is to find good mechanics but AAMCO was more like a fairy tale lol. I would 100% recommend anyone with car trouble to give them a try. Your vehicle will be in good hands!
LONG Story, but my hard shift from 1st to 2nd was a bad Accelerator Pedal Position sensor. The good news is that I basically gave Rusty /Aamco a blank check to rebuild my transmission telling him that I had 7 Neutrals and had previously had hard 1-2 shifts; and engine in limp mode. He found I hadn’t fully seated the front axle shafts in the diff and the hard shift dislodged them… that AWD system then makes everything feel like Neutral… He says, I think your hard shift is related to Throttle body or pedal sensor. Nice not paying for an unnecessary transmission.
Very informative and fair priced location, handled my 2017 corvette without issue
